At Drs. Chin & Pharar in Las Vegas, we use digital X-rays instead of the old-style X-rays requiring a lead apron. We do that for several reasons. One is that they expose you and your young ones to about 90 percent less radiation. Another is that there is no delay — they provide immediate images that we can look at with you on the chairside computer monitor.
To virtually eliminate the discomfort of anesthesia delivery, we have invested in the Milestone Scientific STA™ System. It is a computer-controlled and more precise way of giving you a local anesthetic. By regulating the speed at which the novocain is delivered, it drastically reduces discomfort.
